I am researching the Hartsock (Hertzog) family from Kehl, Germany.
It appears that Conradt Hertzog and probably his son Henry (both born in Germany) emmigrated to the U.S. and somehow Henry's (and probably Conradt's also) name was changed to Hartsock. (probably at the port of entry).
Child of Conradt Hertzog is:
Henry Hartsock, (Hertzog/Herzog), born abt. 1749 in Kehl, Baden, Germany; died January 28, 1812 in E. Bethlehem Twp., Washington Co., Pa..
