I am researching the Genealogy of the Hardisons of Eastern North Carolina. Jasper Hardison came to North Carolina in 1722/23 and purchased land. He is the first known Hardison in this area. I do not know if he is related to the Hardisons of Maine or if he came from England or some other country. My search continues. I am a descendent of Jasper Hardison.
