Descendants of Obadiah Lawson Bryant

Generation No. 1

1. OBADIAH LAWSON1 BRYANT was born 1815 in GA., and died in Ark.. He married ELIZABETH H. MCGRAW Abt. 1835 in South Carolina.

Notes for OBADIAH LAWSON BRYANT:
Sons Harvie (?), William, Lawson and Zake faught in the Confederate Army. William , Lawson, and one other son was killed. Three sons-in-law were killed also.(Story of Flint Hill) I have no record of a son named Harvie from any other source. Hardy would have been even younger than Dock.
The children I have listed here are from the censuses of Meriweather Co. GA before coming to Coosa Co. AL and after they had moved here. No Harvie is ever listed with them. Son Stephen Franklin Bryant later had a son named Harvey Houston. Nancy apparently did not come with them immediately aw her name does not show up on th first census after arriving. I do not know her married name ,so she may possibly have come and be listed with her own family.
