Floy Foster said she remembers seeing her after she (Floy) was grown. Ella still had very long black hair which she wore in braids. She lived at Redding Camp, not far from Ishkooda Camp at TCI. Died in Bessemer,AL.

Notes for HARVEY HOUSTON BRYANT:
According to Estrilla Bryant Fuller, Harvey's daughter, Harvey conspired with Zonnie for Harvey to marry her sister, Lexie, in order to get her out of their father's house for much needed medical attention which the father had refused for her. Lexie and Harvey stayed married until Lexie's death, then he married Zonnie and they had their family. Estrilla admired her father for doing this for Zonnie, the woman he loved. She said her father named her for the heroine of a novel he had read.

Marriage Notes for FLOY BRYANT and HUGH FOSTER:
Floy and Hugh were married in the middle of the road in Oxmoor. They were returning from Mr.McBride's (Daddy Mac's) house , not finding him at home where they had gone to get married. The met him on the way back to Papa Bryant's. Mr.McBride performed the ceremony in the middle of the road and they went on their way.

Notes for OSCAR WARD BRYANT:
These are places in Alabama where Oscar Bryant remembers living before going to Mississippi as a young man. Boaz, Fort Payne, Talledega, Albertville, Guntersville, Collinsville, Hollins, Sylacauga, Opelika, and Goodwater. I don't know the time frames, but Walter Bryant must not have been with them. He only remembers being raised in an Episcopal Home in Gadsen or Anniston, AL.
Floy Bryant Foster, Walter's daughter always said that Oscar and Walter's father was a railroad man and couldn't take care of the small children after his wife Susan died when Oscar was eleven days old. He was a farmer when the children were born according to the census of Coosa Co. I'm checking the later Alabama censuses to see how all of this jibes.
FBF also said that Walter and Oscar had a fight on the train as it went through Jefferson Co. and Walter got off and stayed.
