* My Ancestoral Crossroad - in Lincoln, Maine*

Updated January 20, 2006

Lincoln, Maine is the point where my grandparents converged. This is the common place that the four - Harding, Beale, Potter and Mott - chose to live, a crossroads for all my ancestoral roots. Genealogy is an ongoing work in progress. I'm always open to new information, a new trail, a new leaf for the tree.

Historically, I am interested in all ancestoral lines, maternal as well as paternal. My great grandparents add Cunningham, Irving, Ludden and Foster to the list of surnames...

I am stumped by the proverbial deadend grandmothers - Hannah Pomeroy Harding, Sally Robinson Hopkins, Sarah Rackcliff Hopkins, Hannah Potter Potter, Hannah Woodbury Ludden, MaryAnn Jones Foster ...

Intrigued that my mother has 50+ maternal first cousins, I am interested in these descending lines as well as those of my other three grandparents - small enough numbers to count those cousins on my fingers.

On to the hunt... Come and join me.
