* Harrison, Pulliam, Purcell & Thomason families of NE Georgia*

Updated September 6, 2001

This is a collection of information on the Harrison, Pulliam, Purcell, Thomason, Stonecypher, Thomas, Anderson, Brown, Whitfield, Cash, Roe, Glover, Statham, Sheriff, and Garner families of Georgia, most being from Franklin County at some time or other. Most of my lines go back to the early 1800s or late 1700s in Northeast Georgia and Northwest South Carolina.
I am also researching the CSA Regiments my G-G-Grandfathers fought in, including the 15th, 21st, 24th, 34th, 37th, & 66th Regiments of the Georgia Volunteer Infantry; 11th Georgia Calvary; Company B, Gault's 1st Georgia State Line; & 4th Georgia State Milita; Confederate States of America. Please send my any available info on these units and I will share what I have.

I am always in search of new info on current and past cousins and ancestors. All additions and corrections are very much welcomed and appreciated. I would especially love to get copies of any old records, letters or photographs of family members. Please let me hear from you if there is even a slight chance that we might have a possible link or common family thread. I am easy to get along with! Thanks a bunch! -gene Harrison-
