Find Family
I am researching the Hartley family from Seminole County Florida. Lee Jackson Hartley arrived in Sanford (Melonville), Florida, from Crawford County (central), Georgia in December of 1870. Lee Jackson's father, Michael Hartley, and grandfather, Daniel Hartley, had come to central Georgia from Orangeburgh District, South Carolina, around 1820.

I am also looking into the family history on my mother's side of the family, which includes Michael Sweeney, James Vernon Jones, and Frank Nickels, all from the Hampton (Bradford County), Florida area.

Any information that others may have is welcome and I am willing to share what I have with others.
