Information on the Michael Leahy family which settled in Aransas County, Texas and Bee County, Texas would be appreciated. The family came from Ireland ca 1850 (?). Some of the family settled in San Patricio, an Irish community in South Texas.
I am researching two sides of the family: one is the Harrison side which moved to Texas (Coppell and Grapevine) from South Carolina. Great Grandfather is Thomas Jefferson Harrison who married Ettie Lee Pipes in Coppell, Tx. I would like information on his ancestors.

The other side is my wife's maternal Great Grandfather Patrick Gallagher. He settled in Patrick , Tx near Waco or China Springs and I believe came there directly from Ireland. I can not find any records on his birth or death and therefore his ancestors. I did find the Patrick Family Cemetery Plot but not a record of him there.
