Very little is know about Johann Phillip Harth or his wife Elisabeth Goellner.
The older living generations were under the impression that Johann Konrad (Conrad) Harth and three sibling had been adopted by the Harth family while still in Germany.
This has proven to be false as indicated in a letter from the Church in Ingelheim where Conrad had been baptized. Letter is in German and was found as part of Conrad Harth's pension records - it was stamped by the US Pension Office on 8 April 1905. Conrad's pension number was 644725.
History has it that the children were raised in the Alsace-Lorraine district of
Germany which was at one time part of France.
