This deed made this 3rd day of November 1902 between John H. Bailey and Mandy Bailey his wife of the first part and CJ Benett, James Claud, Mons(?) Darden, William Turner, Jos. Sykes, Georg Boykins, Israel Ellsworth, Percy Flyth, John Henry Williams, M.C. Canga(?), William Sykes, Jos. Ellsworth, Willis Story, Joe Baker, and James Williams Lanties in business under the firm name and style of The Home Securing Company of the second part, Witnesseth That for and in consideration of $160.00 to the parties of the first part in hand paid , at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said parties of the first do hereby grant and convey with general warranty unto the said parties of the second part doing business under the firm name and style of the Home Securing Company the following property to wit That certain lot or parcel of land with buildings and appurtenances , situate in the town of Courtland granting 25 ft on the A&D R.R. Companys right of leway and running back to an alley, adjacent to the old Lawrence lot, same being known as lot Uo 61 on the mark of the said town land lowered as follows to wit On the North by the A&D R.R. Cos right of way , on the S. by said Alley next to Lawrence lot , on the East by lot Uo 60 and on the West by lot U (?) Witness the following signatures & seals this 3rd day of November 1902.
