Jesse Corn, Isaac Adams and Warren Massey were appointed commissioners by the county court of Patrick at March term 1834 to sell the lands of which David Crews, dec'd possessed. Sold on 7 Aug. 1834 to Peyton Standley for $196.00. This land lying on the waters of Smith River containing 250 acres.

Since his daughter, Lucy married Caleb Hall in 1827, the daughter listed in the 1830 Census is Elizabeth Mize who married Andrew Hooper in 1848.

Ruth filed for divorce in 1838 in Barren County, KY. She said that a great portion of her married life had been in great danger and further states that Isaac had abandoned her for more than 2 years and had been living in open adultery with another woman, etc. She refused to relinguish her dower.

Soon after her divorce from Issac Mize, Ruth moved to Shelby Co., Illinois with her sons Benjamin and Josiah where she died about 1855.
