1. JOHN¹ INGRAM, SR was born 1756 in Patrick County, Virginia, and died December 1813 in Patrick Co., Virginia. He married ELIZABETH CHILES. She was born Abt. 1760, and died Aft. July 21, 1814.

Will of John Ingrum, Senr, being weak of body....
Legatees: to my dearly beloved wife Elizabeth, the whole
of my lands that I now live on, that is to say, my upper
and lower plantation, hosehold and kitchen furniture,
two negros and children, whole of my stock, grain, corn.
After he decease this is to be equally divided amonst
my three daughters: Sarah Adams, Franky Mize & Ruth Mize.
The rest of the goods sold, but the negros to remain in
the family.
Executors: sons John & James Ingrum and wife Elizabeth.
Witness: William Walden Nad Margarett Walden
Returned: July Ct 1814.
