Eugene and Janet Harris Family Home Page

My husband and I are researching our family tree. My husband Eugene ("Gene") R. Harris is searching for some information on a male Harris that the family lost track of in the early to mid 1800's in the Oklahoma Territory.I, myself am doing research ont the Stroinski and Pankaskie. My great-grandparents came to the States from Prussia. My grandmother Mary A. (Pankaskie) Deiter married George William Deiter. From my understanding the Deiter Family came over from Germany and Poland. This family is my Mother's side of the family. My grandparents on my Father side are the Carpenters and the Peak(e) Family. I was told that some of the Peak's spelled their name as Peake. I was told that these two families came from England and possibly France. However, I was told that some family members were born on Netural Waters. Any information would be appreciated. Gene and Janet
