1. SIMON¹ PEARSON was born Abt. 1664 in Baltimore,MD, and died Bef. 1742 in Stafford Co.VA. He married (1) EMM. He married (2) SARAH THURSTON July 25, 1715, daughter of THOMAS THURSTON and MARY.

Notes for SIMON PEARSON:
Births of his children recorded both in St. John's Parish and St. Paul's Parish (Samuel). The Maryland Hist. Soc. show that "Symon Parson" was a taxable at the Widow Long's in 1692, in Northside of Patapsco Hundred. Simeon Parson was a taxable in south side of Gunpowder Hundred in 1694.

Nov. 1742, Eliz. Matthews, widow, petitions the court....., one of which was "Pearson'sPark", originally surveyed for Simon Pearson, now deceased.

Mar 9, 1704, Symon Pearson and wife Emma of Balto. Co, weaver, 100 a. at head of Bush River and North side of Bynum's Run

Most of Simon's land patents were dated from 1698-1723 and most of it was in that part of Baltimore Co. that is now Harford. He is called both "planter" and "weaver"

Notes for SARAH THURSTON:
Sarah Thurston married first a Shaw, and 2nd, Simon Pearson. She had five children: Moses, Samuel, Comfort, Simon, Mary, Ann
She deserted Simon ca. 1724
