Thomas Pearson of Isle of Ely, Wisebach, Cambridgeshire, brought to VA in 1636 or 1639 by Richard Cocke.
Married (1634) to Susannah Blande( b. ca.1617), whose family was in England and VA. She died in Stafford Co.,VA

Thomas, II, b. ca. 1640, married Sarah Alexander in Pownall Fee, England. Sarah is of the Alexander Family that the city of Alexandria, VA was named ofter. Thomas is mentioned in her father's records as his son-in-law.

Thomas III according to Will, DEEds and Order books from Stafford Co, VA,(later Fairfax) ....John Peake, Sr. refers to son in law, Thomas Pearson. Marriage ca. 1680

Will of Moses Pearson, In the Office of the Probate Court, Charleston,S.C. In Will Book 1760-1767, page 373, is recorded the following :

IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN, THIS 10th day of July, year of our Lord 1762, I, MOSES PEARSON, of Craven County, and Province of South Carolina, Yeoman, being of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God, therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, that is to say principally and first of all, I give and recommend my Soul unto the hands that gave it, and for my body I recommend it to the earth to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my Executor, nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection, I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God, and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to blesss me in this life, I give, devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form:
INPRIMUS/ It is my will and I do order that in the first place all my just debts and funeral charges be paid and satisfied.

ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my well beloved son, Aaron Pearson, one shilling sterling.
ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my well beloved son, Moses Pearson, one shilling sterling.
ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter, Ruth Askew, one shilling sterling.
ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter, Sarah Cherry, one shilling sterling.
ITEM; I give and bequeath unto my beloved son, Bradent Pearson, the plantation I now live upon, a hundred and fifty acres of land, being the half of the three hundred acres , to him and his heirs----a feather bed and furniture, a horse and a pacing mare and colt, a plow and a Negro fellow named Jupiter, and three cows and calves, one dish and three plates.
ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter, Comfort Pearson, one hundred and fifty acres of woodland called "Walnut Bluff", to her and her heirs; a feather bed and furniture, one dish and three plates and a mare and colt, a negro wench named Dinah.
ITEM: I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah Pearson, two feather beds and furniture and some pewter and all my household goods and chattels to her and her heirs forever and it is my desire that she shall have the children's Legacy in her hands to raise the said chidren till they come of age.
ITEM: I give and bequeath to my beloved wife all my hogs and horses and movables to her and her heirs forever.
ITEMS: I likewise constitute and appoint my beloved wife, Sarah Pearson, my sole Executrix, and I do hereby utterly disallow, revoke and disannul all and every other form testament will Legacies and executors by me in any ways before this time willed and bequeathed, ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I HAVE HEREUNTO SET MY HAND.

Attended a Primitive Baptist church in Johnston Co., (later Wake Co.), just south of Raleigh,NC, called the Three Creeks Bapitist church, which was in the Kehukee Association. The Rev. Mr. John Moore,Jr. was the minister. Some where nearby was "Moses Pearson's Branch".

Ruth was sister of Capt. Moses and Aaron Pearson

July 24, 1779 "Comfort Pearson was received as a member of this church: She was baptized in North Carolina, by the Revd Mr. Moore, Junr"
Elder Moore probably baptized 46 members ca. 1775, of the 76 members of the "Johnston " Co. church, mentioned in the Kehukee Assoc. min. Before that, it was in the Charleston,SC Bapt. Assoc. as "Three Creeks Church"

Church referred to is Welsh Neck Bapt., was a part of Cheraw District and later became Darlington Dist.




3. SAMUEL2 PEARSON (SIMON1) was born March 02, 1722/23 in Baltimore Co.,Maryland, and died in Wake Co.,NC. He married MARY SIMMONS.

Birth recorded in St. Paul's parish while the birth's of his father's other children are recorded in St. John's Parish.

Death recorded in the RALEIGH REGISTER, 11 May 1802, states that he died 4 May 1802. Was 79 yrs. old

Was a Captain in Rev. War.
