John P. booth came to Arkansas in the 1850"s. He bought several hundred acres in the White Bluff community just out of Ft. Smith, AR. After his death in 1872, the children sold out their parts of the 300 acres and moved to Oklahoma. Every year the Booth family has a reunion at Robbers Cave State Park in wilburton, OK. It is always held on the sunday before memorial day. John P. booth married Luvica Malone and they had several children: i, Elizabeth Booth, b. 1845 ii, Mary caroline Booth, b. 1847 iii, David Franklin Booth, B.july 31 ,1849 iv, John William Booth, b.april 1854 v, William Riley Booth, b. o2 march 1856 vi, Calvin Rufus Booth, b. 21 jan 1858 vii, Dock Washington Booth, b. 1863 viii, Jerry pinkney Booth, b. 1868 John P. and Luvica are buried at the Booth cemetery located on the old Booth estate at White Bluff, Ar. | "The John P.
