My family reasearch is on the "Robinson's and the Baileys of Yancey County. They were among the first pioneer settlers in Yancey County. These two families were connected through marriage in the early years as well as through later generations. I feel truly blessed to be a part of these two wonderful families. I found these two families to be hardworking, courageous and wise. It has been very intresting to me, to read about their endeavors to carve a living out of the wilderness. My "Robinson Ancestors" came from diffrent areas of Virginia. They helped make "America" what it is today.
I am most appreciative of my rich and most colorful heritage.
