My mother, LENA MARK died a few days after giving birth to me. My father, ISADORE FEINBERG, then married FRANCES HARRIS.
He left me with her about 5 years later and I never heard from him again. Frances adopted me and changed her name and that of my two step sisters, DORIS and ROSEMYRA to HARRIS.
My first wife, HELEN LISBAND died in 1978 and I then married EDITH SHAPIRO. Her first husband was BERNARD SHAPIRO, and I added his family tree. My maternal grandmother was ROSE GLASS.
Note tree of HARRIS DIAMOND. This is not a mistake. HARRIS was his first name and he had two daughters, Rae, who married Harry Harris and Dorothy (Dolly)who married Lou Harris.
There are presently over 1100 individuals in my trees, with about 350 different surnames.
I am still researching all related families and will update this Home Page as I get new information. I recently (Late Oct 2003) added information to the "Descendants of David Harris", which included additions to the Farber and Langer branches. And I added some names to the Rosenzweig branch of the Feinbeg tree. There are also chapters on various aspects of our family history. IKE FARBER was the husband of ROSE HARRIS. REGENSTEINER, KUNSTLER, and KLAU are ancestors of my wife, EDITH SHAPIRO. BARNETT SHAPIRO is an ancestor of her first husband, Bernard. LISBAND and KUVENT are ancestors of my first wife, HELEN LISBAND.
