Greenfield, Saratoga County, NY.  He married (1) Rosanna Tate Abt. 1760 in Ireland, daughter of John Tait.  She was born Bet. 1740 - 1755, and died Abt. 1820.  He married (2) Charity Gilliland Abt. 1790 in NY.  She was born Abt. 1729, and died 1816 in \age 87.

Alexander Hamilton5 Scott (Lewis4, William3, Archibald2, ?William1) was born September 04, 1804 in Greenfield, NY, and died January 09, 1879 in Greenfield, NY.  He married Sophronia Wood Seymour December 19, 1838 in Greenfield, NY, daughter of Thomas Seymour and Rebecca Wood.  She was born May 22, 1816 in Greenfield, NY, and died December 08, 1904 in Glens Falls, NY.

        28.  Edward Irvin6 Scott (Alexander Hamilton5, Lewis4, William3, Archibald2, ?William1) was born May 13, 1846 in North Greenfield, NY, and died April 24, 1931 in Swarthmore, PA.  He married (1) Sarah Frances Hoyt August 22, 1872 in Greenfield, NY, daughter of Zerah Hoyt and Sarah Foote.  She was born July 26, 1847 in Hastings, MI born in the jail. Mother was walking & was closest shelter, and died October 08, 1916 in Swarthmore, PA.  He married (2) Fannie Massey Aft. 1916.  She died June 11, 1949.
