c. p. 5 letter of Samuel Runnels Harrell to Mrs. Withers... "my grandfather came from Wythe Co., Va. and it was always said that his parents came from N. Carolina to Virginia" [He also recounted the story of Madame Marie Harrell who invented Camembert Cheese who has not been shown to be an ancestor.] Letter written about 1944.
