Comment: November 02, 1934, Henry or Harry Hanks, a cousin at Willimantic, told Edgar Hanks Evans on Nov. 2, 1934, that his father was boss of a gang of longshoremen in NYC and on being threatened by a worker, picked up a stick and drove the man away.
Description: According to Edgar Hanks Evans, who was told by Mr. William Letts Oliver, his father was "barely taller than his son, but much more rugged. He bore no special resemblance to his son."
