They are the parents of Joanna Elizabeth "Betsy" Smith (1829 - 1912) who married John Thomas Thompson, Sr. born 1829. They had a child named John Thomas Thompson, Jr. (1859 - 1927) who married Martha Emily Evans (1861 - 1930). They had a child named Cannie Cadie Thompson (1886 - 1962) who married Henry Harrison Davis (1875 - 1937). They had a child named Pearlie Ethel Davis (1904 - 1980) who married Leonard "Linard" Andrew Woodard (1903 - 1934). They had a child named Willie Mai Woodard (1921 - 2001) who married Melvin Lee Henry (1917 - 1994). So the people in this picture were the great-great-great-grandparents of Willie Mai Woodard Henry.
