This picture is of Elisha Newton Henry (June 28, 1828 - May 21, 1906). He was married to Permelia Emmaline "Emma" Whittaker (May 10, 1826 - March 12, 1881). Elisha Newton Henry was the great-grandfather of Melvin Lee Henry through his son George Washington "Taylor" Henry (April 29, 1848 - May 9, 1888). This picture of Elisha Newton Henry was donated by Joyce (Daugherty) Johnson, a great-granddaughter of Elisha Newton Henry through his son Madison (or Matison) Columbus "Tum" Henry (December 3, 1861 - June 27, 1919).
