Charles Sr. Sims (son of Sr. Adam Sims and Mary M. Isham) was born Abt. 1717 in Brunswick County, Virginia, and died Aft. 1805 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. He married Esther Murray on Abt. 1744 in Isle of Wight, Virginia, daughter of Thomas Murray.
