Sir Thomas Cecil, Jr. was an engraver in London. In 1635 he came to Maryland and made the first map for that state and was paid by the Crown in Land. He returned to England and died in 1662.

In 1658, his son JOHN CECIL came to Maryland to look after his interests. John settled in St. Mary's County. [family2..FTW]
