To my beloved wife Frances Mayhew the tract of land where I now live deeded to me by J. W. Hill and wife containing eighty-five acres her natural life and at her death to go to my legal heirs, also two mares, two horses, wagon, harness, etc. The remainder I wish divided between my ten children and the heirs of my son P. A. C. Mayhew, deceased, making eleven. If any have not received a horse, cow, household and kitchen furniture, I wish them made equal.

My son P. A. C. Mayhew at his death was indebted to my son W. C. Mayhew for four hundred dollars for which sum he requested W. C. to take out of his part of my estate. This should come from his eleventh part before they receive any portion of the estate said heirs ......... estate as follows: Reason A. Mayhew, G. W. Mayhew, P. A. C. Mayhew, deceased, Elizabeth Wade, Taylor Mayhew, William C. Mayhew, J........... Taylor, Sidney Kennedy, J. P. Mayhew, Texas Mayhew and Nancy Mayhew. I appoint my three sons G. W. Mayhew, William Mayhew and J. P. Mayhew executors.
