My grandfather, Ssgt. Oscar Henry Harrington, was in the 83rd Infantry Division known as the Thunderbolt. He was in F Co. 329th Regt. during WWII. He was KIA in Barby, Germany on Friday, April 13, 1945. He was awarded the Purple Heart. My grandmother, Lila Grey (Kennedy) Harrington, later in life married George Anthony Collins.
