| Hi, My name is Linda Pearsall Harvey. I am researching my Family starting from Henry Pearsall c1644, who settled in Hempstead, Long Island, N.Y. Henry was one of the fifty original proprietors of Hempstead. Other names connected to my Pearsall line are: MOTT, HORNER, KAVANAUGH, TYDEMAN My grandfather was Thomas Henry Pearsall, b. 1892 d.1943 of Inwood, LI. He moved to Queens when he was 7yrs old. His mother was Hattie Mott also of Inwood, b.1870 d.1927 His father was Zophar Pearsall b. mAY 1868 d. Nov. 16, 1941 Thomas married Edna Kavanaugh b.1893 d.1920. They resided in Ridgewood, Brooklyn. Her parents were Mary Tydeman b. England Edward Kavanaugh b. N.Y.C. Zophar Pearsall's parents were Thomas and Sarah Pearsall. Sarah's maiden name 'unknown'. The Special Collections Roll #3 Tenth Census 1880 Part I. Hofstra LISI, L.I., New York. States: Pearsall, Thomas W M 40 Pearsall, Sarah W F 43 wife Pearsall, Daniel W M 18 son Pearsall, Walter W M 14 son Pearsall, Zophar W M 13 son Pearsall, Julia W F 10 daughter Pearsall, Joseph W M 7 son Other than Zopha Pearsall, I know that Julia married a HORNER; dates unknown.
