Our frst child, Caitlin Maureen was born January 19,1999. We want to leave her with the treasures of her family history. We are off to a good start but we are thirsty for more information. My maiden name is Devine. I can only find information as far back as my Great Great Grandparents John Devine born March 31, 1836 died, November 18, 1908. He was married to Mary Chisolm born March 10, 1836, died January 15, 1926. When I was a child we used to hold a Devine Family Reunion in St. Catharine's, Ontario, Canada. My husband's side of the family offers even less information. We know the names of his Great Great Grandparents. George Wasington Haslett and Iva Myrtle Aldridge. One of their sons, Josh's Great Grandfather was Harold Haslett born November 15, 1899 died March 4, 1989. From what I've been told the town of St. Elmo, Illinois is full of the Haslett family.
