In 1781 he and his wife settled in Middlefield,Ma. He was a Private from Braintree,Ma,on Lexington Alarm Roll of Capt Silas Wild's company and was at the battle of Bunker Hill. He enlisted again and was in the Battle of Stillwater,and was present at the surrender of Burgoyne.
