S J Beauchamp b. 1845 d. 1909, my gr-grandfather. A soldier, farmer, a judge and a Primitive Baptist preacher. He had a stroke in the pulpit on 22 Aug 1909 and died five days later. He was the son of Nathan and Mary Bennett Beauchamp
