I am researching the Hawkins / Foglemans and their allied families. To see a list of surnames in my database , click on the "Surname List" shown below .

Cousins check out the "Index of Individuals" shown below . All of my direct ancestors are shown with a * at the end of their name . Any name with a "camera" indicated at the end has a photo of that person . Please send a picture of any Individual in this list , you would like to include .

I could only include 2,000 individuals out of 12,950 Individuals from my database for this web page . If you cannot find your family on this site , go to the related link below my new web page. A must to see.

I continue to be encouraged by the extremely large number of people who are reaching back and trying to find their roots. I want to thank so many people for their help, and contribution for our family roots. I hope they and everyone else can enjoy this work as much as I have enjoyed doing it.

I have taken my YDNA, and have joined the Hawkins Worldwide DNA Project .To see my test results for our Hawkins Family go to Related Links on this page below, and click on Hawkins Worldwide DNA Project. After you go on the Hawkins Worldwide DNA Project web site, go to Group #10, this is our Hawkins Family Group, showing Family Trees, pictures, and YDNA test results.
I would like to encourage any member of this family to join the Hawkins Worldwide DNA Project to get a more accurate reading and hopefully help our Hawkins Families tie together.
The Hawkins Worldwide DNA Project, along with Hawkins Group #10, and myself need you or any male Hawkins relative of our Hawkins Family to participate in the Worldwide DNA Hawkins Project.
YDNA test along with paper records will provide proof of our Hawkins Family ties, not only for ourselves at the present time, but for the future Hawkins researchers.
If you are a male Hawkins, you can become a member of the project. To apply for admission to the project go to the HAWKINS Project.
Ladies - The results of a Hawkins father, brother, uncle, or cousin would effectively be your results. Talk to them about participating in our program.

See the following site below .
The Song of DIXIE welcome to All who Love The South !!!
This site, is for the people who love the South, and who are proud of their southern heritage. The song of Dixie, and the Confederate Flag, should only be used to honor our ancestors and southern heritage, and not in a negative or racist way.

Thank You,
James D. Hawkins
