He was the son of William Green Reason and Georgia Emily "Emma" Moore. The Reasons may have migrated to Ky. from Tennessee. Lois Prudence McGary b. 9/24/1886 in Carlisle Co., Ky., d.7/19/1949. Daughter of Joseph S. "Cesar" McGary
b. 4/3/1843 in Virginia, d. 3/19/1926 in Carlisle Co., Ky. and Nancy Elizabeth Elliston b. 6/13/1850, d. 4/11/1926 in Carlisle Co., Ky. Nancy is the daughter of John Elliston b. 1814, and Amanda b.11/6/1815, d.12/18/1862. The McGarys may have migrated from Va. thru Hopkins Co., Ky. then to Carlisle Co., Ky.Othe surnames we are researching: Burdett, Butler, Casebolt, Clark, Cragmire, Cragmyle, Ford, Green, Herbert, Knott, Lee, Mattingly, McAtee, Moore, Mudd, Norris, Owens, Reynolds, Rudd, Shercliff, Spalding, Thomas, Thompson, and Williams. Any info on the Reason(s) or McGary families in Ky., Tn., Va., or Md. would be appreciated. I have the Hayden and Hamilton family lines traced back to their emmigration from England and Scotland to Maryland in the late 1700's. I will share this info with you.
