A convict tried on19/03/1792 in York who arrived in 1792 aboard the Royal Admiral. She is buried as Mary Freebody, wife of Simon Freebody at St Matthews Windsor. Buried in February 1855 at St Matthews Windsor. Mary Wells Concealed 27 yards of printed Callico under her cloak and left the shop of James Robson, Linen draper, Parish of St Peter the little, York. James Robson followed Mary Wells into the street and apprehended her. Mary Wells stood trial the 5/11/1791, found guilty and sentenced to 7 years transportation.
