George Harvey was born in 1843 in Wicken, Cambridge, England. He married Mary Hetherington on the 16th July 1880 in Gerringong, New South Wales, Australia. George died on the 29th April 1893 in Gerringong, New South Wales, Australia.The original copy of this photo is from the album that belonged to Maria Harvey the album was then passed on to her younger sister Amy Harvey. The album is now in the posession of Amy's great grandaughter Philippa Scarlett.
