Notes for Lily Agnes Beard: She had two silver embossed name brooches one having Agnes and the other having Amelia on it. Lily had taken them to the jewellers to get cleaned up so she could give them to her two oldest granddaughters, but she died while they were getting cleaned, so we don't know what happened to them.
Lily grew up in a village just outside Rockhampton Queensland, the name of the village is now called Alpha, as it has had a name change since Lily lived there. (this place was most likely named Woodend.)
Samuel and Lily met when they were in primary school. They were in the same class together, one was at the top of the class and the other at the bottom (possably a school at Woodend). Samuel would harness Lily's Shetland pony for her after school. Lily's parents got her horse from either England or Scotland so that she could ride it to school.
Before Lily married Samuel she lived with her parents (grandparents) doing home duties for them.
Lily had blue eyes, auburn hair and was about 5 foot 4 or 5 foot 6. Lily's cause of death was bowel cancer.
Lily Agnes Beard was the illigitimate daughter of Elizabeth Empress Beard. Elizabeth Empress was 21 years old when Lily was born. Lily was raised by her grandparents James Lacon Beard and Elizabeth Badland. They raised her as one of their own children.
