Rosina Bowerman (daughter of James Australia Bowerman and Mary Anne Martin) was born 1874 in Carlingford, Sydney, New South Wales, and died 18 December 1935 in Newington State Hospital, Lidcombe, Sydney, New South Wales. She married James "Jim" Robert Munt on 24 August 1897 in Parramatta, Sydney, New South Wales, son of George Munt and Emma Gray.
Notes for Rosina Bowerman: In about 1919 Rosina and her husband James Robert Munt separated, leaving Rosina to raise all the children on her own. James Robert Munt moved up to Ipswich, Queensland to his brothers house at this time, which was at Gladstone Road, Sadliers Crossing. It is probable that Rosina's parents gave her money to help raise the children. Rosina and her sister Blanche lived in the house at "Manor Farm" together and the house was given to them by their father James Australia Bowerman. James Australia Bowerman and his wife went to live, after living at "Manor Farm", at a house in 17 Stanley Street, St Ives, Sydney, New South Wales.

She remembers when she went to the house it was a big home and it had a big driveway with Christmas Bush all along the driveway, which they used to cut and sell at Christmas time.
Rosina looked a lot like her daughter Dorothy. It is most likely that "Manor Farm" was an Orchard Farm, as there were a lot of Orchard farms in that area. Rosina and the children would of been self sufficient on the farm. The land "Manor Farm" was on had descended down through the family from Richard Partridge and Mary Greenwood.
In the later years of her life Rosina was in a wheelchair and wore a wig as she had lost all her hair, her daughter Dorothy looked after her during these later years of her life.
On her death certificate it states that she was late of Old Beecroft Road, Cheltenham. Rosina's cause of death was Chronic Nephritis and Cerebral Hemorrhage.
