Sophia Browne (daughter of Edward Browne and Mary Amphlett) was born 5 December 1790 in Broesley, Salop, Shropshire, England, and died 8 July 1874 in Astley, Worcestershire, England. She married William Lyster on 12 December 1808 in Saint Leonard, Broseley, Shropshire, England, son of William Lyster and Mary Pomford.

THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
This is the last will and testament of me Sophia Lyster widow of the late William Lyster in the parish of Astley in the County of Worcester. I direct that the bedstead I at present use be deefy returned to my daughter Mary Githus to whom it belongs and that all my just debts and funeral and restimontary expenses be fully paid and satisfied as soon as possable after my decease. And to all the rest residue and remainder of my estate and effects of what nature and kind soever wherever situated that I may at my decease possess or be entitled to I give the same unto my four daughters that is to say Hannah Baker wife of Robert Baker Eliza Meredith widow of Thomas Meredith Mary Githus wife of William Githus and Emma Jones wife of Charles Jones equally sobe devided between them share and shareable for there own sole use seperate and absolute use and benefit I approval my aforesaid daughter Hannah Baker to be the one Executive and my aforesaid daughter Eliza Meredith to be my other Executive of this my Will And I hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and to declare this to be my last and only subsisting Will and Testament In witnefs whereof I have hereunder set my hand this 15th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy two
