Thomas Herman Barnett (b. January 13, 1917, d. December 27, 1944)

Thomas Herman Barnett (son of Walter Otto Barnett and Neppie Arvada Finley)^{73, 74} was born January 13, 1917^{75, 76}, and died December 27, 1944 in Battle of the Bulge, Germany^{77, 78}.

Herman was killed in action in the Battle of the Bulge in WWII and is buried in the Luxemborg Military Cemetery. W.O., Jr. was able to visit and take pictures of the gravesite about 1970. Herman and his brother, Harry, were both in the army and in Germany at the same time but did not know where each other were. Harry survived the Battle of the Bulge, but never talked about it. A memorial stone is placed in the Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery, Wayne Co., MS.
