Judy Heaver has researched her parents whose family names were Tailby and Goodman. These families lived in Desborough, Northants and had moved there from Braybrooke near Market Harborough. The Tailby tree has been traced to the early 1700's and the Goodman tree to late 1700's. Bob Heaver has researched his parents whose family names were Heaver and Critchley, also both his grandmother's trees being Wiseman and Redford. The Heavers originate in Kent traced to late 1700's, the Critchleys in Lancashire traced to mid 1800's, the Wisemans in Essex traced to mid 1500's, and the Redfords from Lancashire traced to early 1800's. Family History studies have only started during the last year and a clear focus and system for research has yet to emerge.I am happy to share any data accumulated and would be grateful for any information linking in to the family names mentioned | |
