I was born and raised in W. Penna. My father was 100% german, altho he didnt know that. The name Heasley had morphed from Haussli, German/Swiss. His mother's maiden name was Altman, another 100% German. Both families came to the new world in the mid-1700s. Both families have been well documented in Westmoreland county, Pa. I would like to discover some of the Personal info. My mother's family has been frustrating for me. I have been unable to get basic information on them. Her grandfather, Christopher Mullen, emigrated from Ireland sometime between 1850 and 1875 when he was married to Bridgett Anthony, in Kittanning, Pa. . I have nothing beyond that. Her mother's family, William McGowan and Mary, arrived in the US in approx 1885-6, and lived in the Pittsburgh area around Braddock and East Pittsburgh(then called Brinton). Ihave discovered that there were at least two of William's sibling with them. Sara and Hugh. There might have been more, but I haven't found an indication. William, his wife, Mary, and His brother Hugh were all dead by 1900! The families that I am researching are: On the Heasley side- Altman, Hild,Hobaugh,Schramm or Schrumm. On the Mullen side- Mullen, McGowan, Anthony,McPhilbin(?),
