Will of William Hearne states that wife was with child and if child lived, the property was to be left to child and other son. The child was Thomas and the other son was William. - William Hearne was known as a Blanket Merchant.
In 1688 he settled near his brother's land on the Maryland side of the Maryland / Delaware border, Delmar. He built his residence which he named "St. Kitts" and lived there until he died in 1691. He immigrated to America in 1675. His family claimed that William descended in an unbroken line to William the Conqurer, 1066.
