obituary - "Mrs. Seale died in upstate home following stroke - Winona - Funeral for Mrs. Mary Ann Clark Seale, native of Montgomery County and wife of Alfred Louis Seale of Kilmichael, were held from the Kilmichael Methodist Church. Mrs. Seale died at the family residence in Kilmichael following a paralysis stroke. She was 57 years of age at the time of her death. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the Rev. Oakes officiated at the services. Survivors are her husband; two sons, A.L. Seale and M.C. Seale, both of Kilmichael; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Vaughn of Kilmichael; four brothers Edwin Clark of Bruce; I.S. Clark of Kilmichael and F.H. and G.A. Clark both of Drew."

obituary - " A.L. Seale, Sr. Fatally Injured - Louis Seale was fatally injured in a car wreck Sunday night, March 1st, as he was driving form Belzoni to Vicksburg where had work. He and friends from Belzoni had visited his mother, Mrs. W.E. McLaughlin in Kilmichael for a short while Sunday afternoon. He was rushed to a Vicksburg hospital, where he died Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. His brother, Sam Hill Seale, and his son A.L. Seale Jr., were at his bedside when he died. Survivors are his mother, Mrs. W.E. McLaughlin; two sons, A.L. Seale, Jr. of Jackson, Maurice Seale of Water Valley; a sister Mrs. R.P. Ellis of Lexington and a grandson, Jerry Seale of New Orleans. His wife preceeded him in death about 17 months ago."
