| I am looking for information on the martin family. I have info dating back to Daniel Boone. I was told he was in our family, along with herbert hoover and martha washington. I have no proof of either of those being true but i just started my search yesterday! Our branch of the martin family is mostly from Iowa, I know they moved to the east coast at one time but mostly stayed in Iowa. We were quakers at the time and were apparently kiicked out of church for marring outside of the church!!!! My grandfather was Ralph Leclair Martin and his wife was Thelma Pauline Deal. Ralph died in 1977 and Thelma in 1994, they lived in Whitten Iowa, also zearing Iowa for a while, i think thelma may have been born there. I am looking for any help or info that may be out there, I would love to create a family tree as complete as possible for the remaininng martins and future martins to come. Thank you in advance for any help you may give. |
