"The Charles H. Hebert's of Houston, TX"

I am researching the Belcher family from South Carolina. The first relative that I am able to locate appears in the 1880 census. His name was Isaac Belcher, he was born in South Carolina
in 1806. He was a slave and was on a plantation. He had a son Harry Belcher born in 1839 in South Carolina. Harry Belcher was married to Eliza Goddard of South Carolina. At some point in time I believe that they moved to Tennessee, then to arkansas and on to Texas.The men were tall(over 6 feet) and very maculine, they were wood cutter and some were farmers.

I am also interested in researching Charles Rufus Thompson, his Father was Charles Thompson born in Annona, Red River Co., TX in 1873. He had two sons Charles Rufus and Claude.

Any Information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
