1. Nathan¹ Small was born June 23, 1777 in New Hampshire, and died July 18, 1863 in West Athens Maine. He married Susannah Corson November 2, 1800 in Clinton Maine. She was born May 1780 in York Maine, and died June 9, 1870 in West Athens Maine.

This was taken from article in the East Somerset Register Athens Maine Early Settlement.
Nathan Small moved to Atlens Maine after his marriage. In 1813 he move to a farm in the east part of town. Some of his sons moved to ILLinois and settled in
Grundy County near Verona ILL.
