Greetings to fellow family tree researchers...

This site is being maintained by the James and Darlene Sartore family. We are just beginning an adventure to learn about our family history, and connect with relatives we don't yet know...

The death of Darlene's parents Floyd and Mayme Hedrick, spawned a realization of just how important it is for each generation to record as much as possible from those still living, and to deligently search historical accounts for as much information as possible about our family's history... By not keeping an accurate record about our family, we've lost precious knowledge about the past, some of which could directly affect conditions in our present and future...

Hopefully new friends among fellow genealogists will help us in this adventure of discovery.

Helping to keep the Family Tree up to date can add exciting new sharing time activities to Our Family Reunions. With the diverse interests among us, there should always be lots of stories to keep adding to our family tree collection... History will know about us only if we take the time and make the special effort to make a written record.... The Family Tree Project and the Internet offers us a convenient method to keep in touch and help us create a valuable legacy for our descendents.
