The death of Darlene's parents Floyd and Mayme Hedrick, spawned realization of how important it is for each generation to learn about the family and record from those still living, and to deligently search historical accounts for information about our family's history... By not keeping an accurate family record, we've lost precious knowledge about the past, some of which could directly affect conditions in our present and future... Let's each do our part to create a Family Tree Record our future generations will be proud to inherit, and excitedly inspired in keeping the record current to pass onto their children.
Hopefully new friends among fellow genealogists will help us in this adventure of discovery and information collection.
Helping keep the Family Tree up to date can add exciting new sharing time activities for Our Family Reunions. With the diverse interests among us, there should always be lots of stories and pictures to keep adding to our family tree collection... History will know about us only if we take the time and make the special effort to make a physical record....
