Research in to the Hissey family began in 2005. Family research can never be complete. I have successfully created a Hissey tree tracing the family through Berkshire,Oxfordshire,Buckinghamshire,Australia,Kenya & South Africa.
I have written a book called 'My Side' as I believe there are loads of people, both present and future who would benefit from knowing what I now do. This book contains information obtained from records available about the family which include wills, BMD records, census information, photographs, family contributions etc. This book is only available directly from myself, in both hard copy and CD Rom pdf format. I have decided not to publish it on line to keep living family members identity as private as possible.
Research into the Hissey family continues with the help of many other fellow Hissey researches from all over the world. Regular updates will be made on this site.
Work is still in progress on the Northcott (variants), Hedger and Van Deventer side of the family ... trees will be published in due course.
I do hope that the information found on this site will be of help. I would also welcome any opinions and contact from any other fellow researchers who my tree might be of interest to.
For them - past, present and future, with love.
