The Hedges line is back to around 1725 in the Counties of Hampshire and Berkshire.I also live about two miles away from the church containing the tombs of Sir Charles/Sir William Hedges as yet no conections found location is Stratton St. Margret Swindon Wiltshire. Names in Hedges Tree, Girdler,Harmsworth,Fruin,Berry,Warfield,Evans,Neale,Hancock, Freeguard,Harris,Gritt,Rawlins,Cook Locations: Hampshire,Berkshire,Wiltshire,Wales but to name a few. The Warfield line locations are In Bristol and Somerset, with connections also in South Wales The Family Legend states that we are related here to the Mrs Simpson nee warfield wife of King Edward no conections yet found with America. My Warfield data is good back to about 1700 Any information would be gratfully received and help given were I can. |
